Welcome
RMDRC is home
to an awe-inspiring display of
dinosaurs, prehistoric marine reptiles, pterosaurs
and fish of North America's late Cretaceous.
Visitors can
enjoy a wide collection of fossilized animals, see a working fossil
laboratory and enjoy life-restoration as well as skeletons of these
fascinating animals. The best part, due to our field work, our
exhibits change periodically.
For
the kids, Woody's Paleo Playground includes
a dig site, activities like "create a dinosaur", dinosaur "rubbings" and
educational videos non-stop.
And don't forget our gift shop for all your dinosaur
needs. For those who can't make it, we have it
available online.
There's
always something new to see,
so come, explore and enjoy our site!

Santa will
be at the museum every Saturday and Sunday in
December from 11am to 3pm. Kids can hang with the dinosaurs and
St. Nick while enjoying a
bunch of fun and educational activities.
Dec. 30th
4th Annual Kid's FREE Day
We welcome you to the 4th Annual Colorado Kids Day.
Two kids get in FREE with each paid adult. (5-12 yrs old).
Your kids can hang with Cool Scientist, Mark Straube. He'll be
conducting fun and educational experiments, with two shows at 11am and
2pm. You can explore a museum filled with dinosaurs and sea
monsters, plus there will be plenty of hands-on experiences!

One thing is for sure,
this isn’t your typical museum. It’s what you don’t see that makes this
museum so special. A team of artists work meticulously on every specimen
they bring into the shop, which is nestled in the back of the museum.
